Robot 2024 conference: the Seventh Iberian Robotics Conference

From November 6th to 8th, the AIRSHIP Project was featured at the Seventh Iberian Robotics Conference, held at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Organized by the university in collaboration with the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the event brought together robotics experts, researchers, and innovators from across the Iberian Peninsula and beyond.

The conference provided a platform to explore the latest developments in robotics, with sessions covering a wide range of topics including industrial automation, autonomous systems, educational robotics, and field robotics. The AIRSHIP Project was presented within this context, contributing to discussions on the integration of robotics in novel transport solutions.

Key themes throughout the event included human-robot interaction, the ethical and economic implications of robotics, and enabling technologies such as sensors, computer vision, and AI. Participation in the conference allowed the AIRSHIP team to engage with the broader robotics research community, exchange insights, and highlight the project’s relevance in advancing autonomous, sustainable mobility.
