TRANSNAV Conference
The AIRSHIP PROJECT was actively represented at TransNav 2025 in Gdynia, Poland, highlighting the project’s contributions to sustainable and innovative maritime solutions. Kristin Kerem presented research on Wing-in-Ground crafts in Europe, exploring their potential for fast and efficient regional transport. Kristine Carjova, together with the team, showcased studies on small modular reactors for marine applications, emphasizing safety and resilience at sea.
The project also contributed insights into smart port development, maritime security operations, and the optimization of navigation systems using AIS data. These presentations demonstrated how AIRSHIP is advancing safe, sustainable, and high-tech maritime transport.
Through its participation, the project reinforced its role at the forefront of research and innovation, connecting with experts across Europe and sharing practical solutions that could shape the future of regional shipping.
